I played a bit of the first Path of Exile, but not a ton. Coming fresh off beating the campaign of Diablo 4, I wanted to jump into POE 2 while it was fresh.

Bloons is probably the most popular tower defense game on the market. They started as flash games - I have fond memories of playing the browser versions on computers in school - and have since moved on to full releases on PC and mobile.

Old World

Old World is a strategy/4X game created by a studio headed by a former Civilization dev, and the bones of Civ are definitely present here. It's also got a lot more character interaction than Civ, there's some Crusader Kings influence is here too.
